Spend the night
Animals
Our farm has existed since 1480. However, like the entire village, it burned down in 1820 and was subsequently rebuilt. There are 2 generations living on the farm and we run suckler cows. In the garden you can provide yourself with herbs and vegetables as you wish.
We are very child and baby friendly. The children have sandboxes, slides, swings and a trampoline as well as various toys. In summer we take a weekly trip to the alpine pasture for our cattle and you are welcome to accompany us.
The community also offers guided hikes with local people who are happy to take advantage of. You can do the following things around the farm.
swim
After a hike, there is nothing better than relaxing your muscles with a bath in a lake. You can choose whether you want to do this in Millstätter or in Ossiacher See, both about 20 km away.
Mountain bike
750 km of bike paths and mountain bike trails through the Alps await you. The bike tours are well signposted and lead you to wonderful peaks and special viewpoints. More...
Animals
There are a large number of small and large animals on our farm. We have around 15 cows, depending on the season, calves, pigs, chickens, cats, rabbits and a horse. These are, of course, taken care of daily and can be helped with feeding, taking eggs or even with haymaking.
To ski
The Nockberge Trail is ideal for ski tour hikers in winter. But there are also countless possibilities to use various lifts in the surrounding area. You also have your own ski storage room.
Farm products
On request you can enjoy freshly baked bread. There is also bacon, sausage, honey, Carinthian reindling, various jams and fresh fruit juices straight from the farm. You can also get fresh eggs straight from the hen house.
hike
Directly from the house you can choose between small hiking tours through the gentle mountains of the Nockberge Mountains and maybe the Nockberg Trail for long-distance hikers. More...
